Celebrations-of-life are similar to memorial services, which can be described as a hybrid event; combining the flexibility of a celebration-of-life with many of the activities of a traditional funeral order-of-service.
There's more room for creativity in a celebration-of-life than a funeral. Since celebrations-of-life are commonly held after the individual's physical remains have been cared for through burial or cremation; there is much more time available to plan the event. And without doubt, this allows you to make better decisions about how you'd like to celebrate the life of someone you dearly loved.
St. Boniface Golf Club is the ideal location to celebrate the passing of a loved one with a Celebration of their life. We are open year round, we offer on site catering and we are available on short notice. The Pattison Atrium can accommodate up to 250 of your closest family and friends with gorgeous breathtaking views overlooking the Seine River and the scenic golf course.
In addition, we have ample complimentary parking available and state of the art audio/visual equipment to accommodate a memorial slideshow presentation.
We are centrally located, only 5 minutes from downtown Winnipeg and we are fully licensed allowing your guests to share memories over a glass of wine.
The Chester Solarium is a bright and cozy space that is often used as a private family space to gather before the program starts. Recommendations for florists and funeral celebrants are available upon request.
Our Celebration of Life packages include cotton tablecloths and napkins, staff to serve your meal and clean up afterwards, and a one hour consultation with our event manager to help you plan your memory filled day. This package can be ordered for up to 250 guests.
